Not great. Made similar to the B and Q one I bought 3 years ago but the parasol is very light and cannot be used in even a gentle breeze as it flies about. It arrived with the main support the wrong way round and I had to adjust. I don't think it will survive very long. Had to edit review. I gave 1 star but is was going to be posted as 5.

Parasol is huge loads bigger than I thought. Only concern is the base as it's not very sturdy and with the slightest wind it topples over which unfortunately we found out causing a little tear to end of parasol. We now have to put sandbag on to weigh it down. Otherwise fantastic and great value.

In the description when I was making the purchase it stated as 'stable heavy base'. Which was a lie, it will get blew away with very little wind. If you trying to return it then they will not pay for the postage. So think again before making the purchase or take the additional base costs into amount.

The parasol looks nice but- and a huge but- the mechanism for cranking open and closed is very high, so you need to be tall to operate. The base isn't balanced so we have had to buy sandbags to weight it down or you can bolt it into the ground- this somewhat defeats the purpose of needing to shield oneself from the sun. The customer service is excellent as the product got lost by DPD and we had to chase it up. It then arrived missing fixings.

Bit clumsy, far to tall to provide effective shade and will topple over, need to purchase weights to anchor down or put flags on the base. Really easy to put together but does need 2 people. It is also rather large covering a big area.
